More than a piece of jewelry, this remarkable vintage charm bracelet is a wearable collection of faith, history, symbolism, and personal milestones. Substantial in both weight and presence, the bracelet is crafted in 14K yellow gold and holds twelve beautifully detailed 10K yellow gold charms.

Ten of the charms reference the Twelve Tribes of Israel—the ancestral divisions of the Jewish people traditionally traced to the sons and descendants of the patriarch Jacob, later named Israel. Each charm is individually sculpted with symbolic animal, botanical, architectural, or maritime imagery. Many incorporate pierced openwork, twisted-rope borders, dimensional figures, decorative banners, and inscriptions in English and Hebrew.

In this particular collection, Joseph and Asher are not represented by individual named charms. In their place are two meaningful Judaica milestone charms:

  • A seven-branched menorah charm featuring an ornate raised menorah on the front and the number “10” on the reverse.
  • A Torah scroll charm with beautifully modeled scrolls and braided detailing on the front and the number “13” on the reverse, representing the traditional age of Bar Mitzvah.

The bracelet itself is made of substantial paired, interlocking round links that create a rich, dimensional appearance and provide a strong foundation for the large charms. It closes with an integrated rectangular box clasp featuring a push-button mechanism and an additional safety catch. The bracelet is hallmarked 14K at the clasp.

Antique and vintage charm bracelets are especially captivating because they were often assembled gradually rather than purchased complete. Each charm could commemorate a place, a belief, a family connection, or an important moment in someone’s life. Together, the charms become a miniature archive—a collection of small objects from the past that continues to tell its story long after its original owner is gone.

This bracelet has a particularly meaningful journey of its own. It came from an antique shop in Jerusalem and, after many years, eventually made its way to Georgia, USA. Its warm aged gold, intricate symbolism, and individual character speak beautifully to the places it has traveled and the generations through which it has passed.

The charms range from approximately 27–37mm, or approximately 1.06–1.46 inches, with most falling toward the larger end of that range. Their generous size and sculptural workmanship give the bracelet an impressive presence, while its substantial 94.3-gram weight feels luxurious on the wrist.
